Shape Nodes
Shape nodes allow you to create diagrams, flowcharts, and visual representations on your board.
Available Shapes
Section titled “Available Shapes”Flowboard includes a variety of shapes:
- Rectangle - Standard rectangular shape
- Circle - Perfect circles
- Diamond - Diamond/rhombus shape
- Hexagon - Six-sided polygon
- Triangle - Three-sided shape
- Parallelogram - Slanted rectangle
- Plus - Cross/plus shape
- Cylinder - Database-style cylinder
Creating Shapes
Section titled “Creating Shapes”- Click the Shapes button in the control bar
- Select the shape type from the submenu
- Click on the canvas to place the shape
- Resize by dragging the corners
Customization
Section titled “Customization”Each shape can be customized with:
- Fill Color - The interior color of the shape
- Border Color - The outline color
- Border Width - Thickness of the border
Connecting Shapes
Section titled “Connecting Shapes”Shapes can be connected with edges to create flowcharts and diagrams:
- Hover over a shape to see connection points
- Drag from a connection point to another shape
- Customize the edge style as needed
